I had a great experience delivering some Science Communications training for academics from the King’s Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care at King’s College London on April 30th. My thanks to Claire Sewell and Jemima Skala for asking me to give the workshop and helping me to develop it, and to all of the enthusiastic attendees for making me feel so welcome.
I gave a remote talk ‘From Arias to Atomic Physics’ about my unconventional career path for the Women+ in Physics group at Royal Holloway, University of London on Wednesday March 25th. I was honoured to write the science content for the brochure ‘Pioneering the quantum internet‘ that details the work of this year’s recipient of the 1 million euro Körber European Science Prize, which was awarded on September 19th in Hamburg in Germany.
